Marcia and Brian an hour before they headed to the hospital.
Ready!
Since we were not able to fit in a baby shower before David's arrival, friends got together to get Marcia and Brian the last of their immediate needs for baby. This include a changing pad with cover, boppy pillow, digital thermometer, nail clippers, wash cloths, socks, mitts, bottle brush, blanket, and a few fun blocks courtesy of the Leska boys.

Our favorite restaurant on the resort was the air conditioned one. It required reservations and had a dress code (basically no beach wear). Best adult entree was beef tenderloin over fettucini. Kids loved the spaghetti with meatballs entree and the dessert called the same. Here I am enjoying the crabcakes.

Just outside our room, our view east shows the ice cream hut, surf rentals and resort beaches. The flag out in the distance indicates weather for watersports. Red is warning of danger, yellow suggest caution, and green is all is great. We had red flags most late afternoons and early mornings, but the daytime was usually yellow and sometimes green.

Right across the street from our resort there were local shops to check out. We were on the All Inclusive Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort, so there was no need to venture out.

So how much do you have to pay for walkie talkies that actually work somewhat? These at least light up.

Since Miles missed out on his birthday party cake, he insisted on making another the next day. Alex made sure it was done right (his way).

The
Big Kids?
I suggested letting Miles open gifts after he ate his cake thinking he'd be done first since he was served first. Somehow he managed only to get a bite of ice cream and missed out on his cake entirely. He didn't complain about opening gifts instead though.
Gifts a Plenty
Miles blew out his candles in a mere four or five, maybe six, puffs.
Make a wish.
